We are always grateful for donations from individuals, industry and grants.
But trees need more than money to thrive. Consider donating your time to water trees during the dry season. Perhaps you have a vehicle that can tow our watering pod? Or have space to raise tree seedlings for future years in your backyard?
TALK to family, friends and neighbours about the value of trees.
APPLY to the Council for a verge tree that they plant and water.
PLANT your own verge or garden tree. We have information and resources to help you choose wisely.
ADOPT an ailing tree in your area. We are always looking for people to provide water once a week to young trees, and take action if you see one that needs shelter from the salty wind or better support.
CONTAINERS FOR CHANGE or donations are always welcome. Let us know if you would like to make a donation worthy of public recognition.
JOIN THE GTCA. We would be delighted to keep you informed about our latest plantings, help coordinate trees for your street and let you know about opportunities to share the word among neighbours, colleagues, friends, local businesses and local government.
LOCAL BUS STOPS are a great place for a few trees, as are pathways: protection from the summer sun, reduce the wind and attract birds near where you walk or wait. Let us know if there is a place near you that needs some trees.
